NJL Process

 

  1. Your Idea

 

Every home begins with an idea. Whether you have plans, land, or are just getting started, we guide you through the early steps—helping define your vision and the best path forward.

 

2. Meetings

 

We meet with you to learn about your vision, goals, and priorities. If you are searching for land, we’ll be your building and zoning expert to ensure your lot perfectly suits your future home.

 

3. Moving Forward

 

Once you’re confident in your vision, and secured a lot, we begin the planning phase. We’ll engage architects, engineers, and municipalities to ensure we are ready for a successful project.

4. Home Design & Budget

 

While we solidify the technical details of the build, our in-house designer and estimator will work with you to finalize a budget that matches your desired level of fit and finish.

 

5. Construction Agreement

 

Once all preconstruction activities are complete, and a budget has been finalized, we will enter into a construction agreement and take the initial steps to break ground on your new home!

 

6. Construction

 

Your home begins to take shape. Through construction, we provide regular updates, walkthroughs, and communication to keep you informed every step of the way.

7. Selections

 

During construction, we guide you through your final fit and finish selections, ensuring your approval of each purchase order, while keeping the project on time and on budget.

 

8. Closing & Moving In

 

As your home nears completion, we perform final walkthroughs, inspections, and finishing touches. Once complete, you’ll receive your keys and officially move into your new home!

 

9. Warranty & Support

 

Our relationship doesn't end at move-in. We provide continued support through 2-month and 10-month warranty walkthroughs, as well as ongoing assistance for any home performance needs.
